View and print the Providence Congregation Survey here. The Congregational Survey is an important component of Providence Church’s search for a new pastor. It has been designed to gather information from our membership to determine how we see ourselves as a congregation, what we perceive to be our mission – today and in the future – in the community and larger world, and gain insight into the type of pastor we want to lead us. This is a confidential questionnaire, and it is one method by which the Pastor Nominating Committee is gathering information from the congregation as part of the pastoral search process. The PNC will compile information from the survey and other sources, plus statistical and demographic information about our church. The information will be used to write a Church Information Form, a document filed with the Presbyterian Church (USA) office in Louisville, Ky., which is the first resource for pastors seeking churches. Then the PNC will begin the actual process of screening and selecting the person to be called as Providence Church’s next pastor. View and print the Providence Congregation Survey here. |
