Both the morning and evening circles are thoroughly enjoying our Bible Study called Jubilee; Luke’s Gospel to the Poor. In this context, “poor” does not just refer to an absence of wealth. “Poor” also means those poor in spirit, broken hearted, lonely, grieving, rejected, excluded, friendless, physically or mentally ill. In this sense, even a rich man can be “poor”. We rejoice that Jesus brings to all people the Jubilee message of hope, healing, freedom and rest.
The Morning Circle meets every second Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am. The Evening Circle meets every second Sunday of the month at 5:00 pm (please note the earlier time) and the Evening Circle enjoys a light supper.
If you have made a resolution this year to enrich yourself spiritually, and would enjoy a break in your routine with a dose of warm fellowship, please join us at one of the circle meetings. Even if you can’t come every time, just come when you can and you will be most welcome!
