Providence Preschool and Kindergarten is a Christian based program located in the Powdersville area of South Carolina.

What are our hours?

Our HALF-DAY program is open Monday - Thursday.

K2 - K4: 8:45 - 12:45

Kindergarten: 8:25 - 1:50

We love our motto: Learn and Play the Creative Way at Providence Preschool and Kindergarten!

In our Christian environment, we will help you instill the love of Jesus and learning at an early age. Our well-balanced program allows students to leave better prepared for full day programs in public or private schools.

Our Classes

K2

Our preschool program begins with 2 year olds! These kiddos are introduced to letters, numbers, colors, shapes, nursery rhymes and so much more. A weekly Bible story is taught to start sharing the love Jesus has for them. Teachers do a fantastic job of modeling social behaviors such as sharing, being kind to friends and table manners. We offer 3 day and 4 day options for our 2 year olds.

K3

We begin seeing a lot of maturity as our students move to K3! This is a big year learning how to treat our friends and be a good listener. Our three year olds continue practicing their letters, numbers, colors, shapes and nursery rhymes. They even begin writing their name! Fine motor activities using cool manipulatives are an important part of a K3 classroom. Students continue to learn more about how Jesus loves them with weekly Bible stories. We offer 3 day and 4 day options for our K3 students.

K4

This is the year to really practice getting ready to start Kindergarten! Teachers work with the students to make sure they can write their name and identify their letters, sounds, numbers and so much more! Students get to cut, glue, paint, play, sing, pray and dance throughout the year as they continue to develop their social and emotional skills. We offer 3 day and 4 day options for our K4 students.

K5

We don't stop at preschool! Our Kindergarten class is taught by a certified teacher. We follow the state standards so our students are fully prepared for 1st grade. Your child won't get lost in a large group size! We are able to give our Kindergarteners a lot of one-on-one time with our small class size of 10 kids. Great friendships develop, and students continue to dive deeper into how much Jesus loves them! Our Kindergarten program runs Monday - Thursday.
